Green coffee is coffee beans that have already been fully processed before roasting. Due to the fact that the pyrolysis process has not yet taken place in the beans, the coffee beans do not have a strong aroma and flavor. The taste of green coffee is much milder, more acidic and almost completely devoid of bitterness. Its color is also lighter. However, it retains the same amount of caffeine as black coffee.
