Delicje Szampańskie with strawberry flavor are fluffy, small sponge cakes with aromatic strawberry jelly, covered with delicate chocolate – an original Polish product, baked for over four decades in the same factory in Płońsk, according to a closely guarded recipe.
How the iconic Delicje are created
First, selected, high-quality flour is mixed in perfect proportions with the remaining ingredients.
This creates a fluffy mass of sponge cake, which is then formed into even circles. The sponge cakes go into the oven for just enough time to become golden and perfectly soft.
Fruit jelly is placed in the center of each cookie, which quickly sets in a special cooling tunnel, creating a sweet disc.
Finally, the jelly sponge cakes are covered with velvety chocolate.
The finished product in aesthetic and handy packaging goes to store shelves, where it happily waits for you!
