Shipping Policy

We only ship our products to addresses ( including PO Boxes )  all 50 states in the USA. We do not ship to any international destinations ( unfortunately we are not able to ship to Canada any more ) .

We ship to USA ONLY!! Please take a look on the Map to see how long your package will take to arrive to you.

Note: UPS does not deliver, and we do not ship on the following six holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

During “checkout” (before you need to provide a payment) you can get an estimate of shipping charges. Orders are shipped from 2405 Estes Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007 to all 50 states in the USA.

EuropeanFoodExpress.com is an online store, and the majority of our orders are processed via our website. In addition to online ordering, we offer several other ways to place an order: by fax, phone or regular mail. If you’re experiencing troubleshooting issues with our page or prefer a different method of ordering, please contact our customer service department.

Please note: Once your order is processed, you will receive an email confirmation. Please check your email inbox after placing your order to ensure that you received the order confirmation email. If you did not receive the email, please contact us at contact@europeanfoodexpress.com. We will not be responsible for any delays or costs in delivery due to incorrect shipping addresses.

All orders are shipped from Elk Grove Village, IL Monday thru Friday. Orders take 1 to 4 days to arrive. Orders with perishable products are shipped from Monday thru Wednesday only. Perishable orders received late in the week will be held for shipment on the following Monday.  This type of orders take 1 to 2 days to arrive. If you don’t receive your order by the end of Friday, please contact us via email at contact@europeanfoodexpress.com with the order number.

 

Shipping charges are based on current shipping rates, the weight of products and required dry ice. UPS.com produces a live quote during checkout based on the destination zip code and weight of the package. Please understand that we ship with dry ice in order to keep your product frozen throughout transit. This does affect the cost of shipping but ensures that your items will arrive in excellent condition.

Your delivery options include: UPS Ground (1 to 5 business days) UPS 2nd Day Air (2 business days*)

*If you order a perishable product, please select UPS 2nd Day Air if ground shipping to your location will take more than 2 business days. By purchasing this product, you agree that European Food Express is not responsible for any spoilage during transit due to delays or any other reason.

* It takes 1-4 business days to receive and process your order.

We’re happy to offer shipping to Hawaii and Alaska! All customers within those states must select 2-day or 3-day shipping at checkout. This ensures that your EuropeanFoodExpress.com will be kept fresh until they arrive at your door.

If you live in our 5-day shipping zone (see the UPS map below), we recommend choosing either the 2-day or 3-day shipping method to protect the quality of the foods being shipped.
To ensure delivery, we require complete and accurate addresses. Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses. We will gladly deliver to rural routes with complete addresses and telephone numbers.

We are unable to ship our products outside of the United States, including Canada, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.

Please note: EuropeanFoodExpress.com is not responsible for any delivered package that is lost or stolen. However, we ask that you notify us via email contact@europeanfoodexpress.com of any issues within 24 hours of receiving your package.

Please do not discard any items while a case is being investigated. Please do not refuse a package. Please do not return a package.

Important Information about Changes to Orders: Please note that all changes to orders must be communicated to our customer service team by 11:59PM CST the Sunday prior to your order shipping week. Any change requests made after that are not guaranteed.

EuropeanFoodExpress.com strives to ensure that our customers receive only the highest-quality and freshest produce. Unfortunately, some items are seasonal and not available year-round, so we cannot guarantee consistent stock of every item in your order. We will happily call you if an out of stock item is on your order and recommend substitutes for any out of stock products in your order. If you choose not to have substitutions made, we will process without the out of stock item and refund you for it.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will not be reimbursed. Exceptions: special cases that involve returning merchandise may be eligible for partial reimbursement. Please contact our customer service department to receive further information.
