Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta: A Comforting Meal for Busy Days
Imagine coming home after a long day, the air filled with the tantalizing aroma of garlic and Parmesan cheese. This is the aroma that precedes a plate of garlic parmesan chicken pasta, a dish that has the power to transport you to a simpler, more comforting time.
Heat the Colavita 100% Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken in batches and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes per batch. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and set aside.
Melt the Mlekpol Extra Whipped Butter in the same skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the wine and bring to a simmer, then simmer for 2 minutes.
Whisk in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, then reduce the heat to low.
Gradually add the grated Parmesan cheese, whisking constantly until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
Stir in the chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to taste.
While the sauce is simmering, cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain the pasta and reserve 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently to coat the pasta evenly. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water if the sauce seems too thick.
Add the cooked chicken to the skillet and toss to combine.
Serve the garlic Parmesan chicken pasta hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley if desired.
